Researchers evaluated the Remidio Fundus on Phone (FoP) platform integrated with Medios AI Multi-Disease software. The FoP platform can operate totally offline which is beneficial in reaching patients who are in rural or otherwise in an area with limited technology.

The technology does not work with every type of smartphone. The phone has to be compatible with Remidio Innovative Solutions. Researchers hope that the smartphone-based AI can complement conventional diagnostic methods.
