Google Glasses: Grand Goggles or just a Bad "Vision"?

Rumo
Rumors have been swirling that internet giant, Google is developing a prototype of digital goggles that would be Android-based with a small screen that would stream information in real time. Google, however, is mum about any possible project. The rumors have still managed to spark debate amongst optometrists on whether such glasses would be safe to use. Concerns revolve around the digital display which could cause computer vision syndrome. Pixilated images so close to our eyes could cause eye fatigue and possibly result in wearers seeing double. Other optometrists believe that Google would know better than to project images directly on the lens of glasses but would project the images at a distance instead. Any concerns are entirely hypothetical at this point since any glasses, if they exist, are unavailable for testing.
