Soliddd Corporation has developed SolidddVision™ smartglasses for use by people suffering from vision loss due to macular degeneration.

The patented technology of the SolidddVision™ smartglasses utilizes proprietary lens arrays to project several separate images to the parts of the retina that are undamaged. The brain is then able to naturally create a 3D image and a single full-field image that seems like normal sight.

The current SolidddVision™ smartglasses are a beta headset but the full, consumer version is planned to be brought to market in 2025 after conducting stringent patient testing. This technology has been in development for over a decade.

A clinical study conducted by Soliddd Corporation involving 30 participants with macular diseases revealed that many of the participants improved their reading ability by 50 percent or more when using the beta SolidddVision™ smartglasses.
