Everyone has busy lives and finding time to work out can feel like an impossible task.
But working out doesn't require expensive equipment, a personal trainer, or a gym membership . Here are three simple, economical things you can do to get some workout time
"worked" into your hectic schedule.
1) Squeeze in mini exercise breaks: Just doing short bursts of exercise is beneficial. So if you have a coffee break or a few minutes to kill before that conference call, try doing 10 squats and 10 sit-ups. Do something that involves movement rather than just sitting in your office chair. Every little bit of exercise helps
2) Walk it out: Park further away from your office or from the grocery store when you go shopping. Elect to take the stairs rather than the elevator whenever possible. If you are on a phone call, don't just sit there, get up and pace the floor as you talk.
3) Work out while you watch TV: During commercial breaks, try doing some planks, sit-ups, squats or any other exercise. Or do a whole routine while you watch.
Take a few minutes a day to get your body moving. You will reap the health benefits both in the short and long-term.
