As you know, my family and I have been patients of the group for many years. I’ve always known that we had received the best ophthalmologic care possible.
Recently, I underwent cataract surgeries in both eyes. Although a routine procedure for you, it was a first for me. From our initial conversation about the procedures and your recommendations, I felt confident that you would restore my sight and that my quality of life would greatly improve. As a result of these surgeries, I’ve come to realize, that not only are you a skilled surgeon, but an excellent ophthalmologist too. On the days of my surgeries, you eased my nerves with your comforting words and reassurance that all would be fine.
I was relieved and thankful that the surgeries went perfectly. However, I was completely overwhelmed with emotion and cried at my first post-op appointment, when I was able to see so clearly. Before the surgeries, I was almost blind and barely functioning and now I have near perfect vision. My vision is clear, colors are bright, and my quality of life has been markedly improved. The outcome has far exceeded my expectations. Dr. Krawitz, you are my hero!
I am incredibly appreciative of your kind, caring and most professional staff who helped to make my cataract surgeries so successful. I am forever grateful for Dr. Cohen who took my measurements, scheduled the surgeries, completed the necessary paperwork, and made follow-up phone calls. I appreciated the thorough post-op visit with Dr. Lutz. All of the technicians are compassionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. The receptionists are always so welcoming and accommodating. Thank you to all the other staff members that are behind the scenes that complete your team.
Although there appeared to be a high volume of patients at the Westbury Island Eye Surgicenter, I was impressed with the well-organized facility, professional staff and excellent care that I received. My overall experience was exceptional.
